Hardware Incident Response: Switch failure in DC

Our current policy for recovering from a switch failure in our rack at the datacenter:

• Take the appropriate speed switch from the office rack
• Replace the failed switch with the office switch
• Order a proper replacement switch for the datacenter
• Replace the office switch in the datacenter with the proper switch
• Install the office switch into the office rack again
